Hello Bookworms! Can you believe that I’ve been consistently blogging for 13 days? Cause I can’t. 😂😂😂 Today we are talking 2020 Reading and Blog Goals. 2019 has been my best reading year in a really long time, and I’ve loved getting back into blogging and talking books with everyone. So I definitely want to continue that next year.
1. I want to read at least 100 books. But, more importantly, I want to review every book I read next year. It doesn’t have to be a full formal review, but I want to make sure I’m writing out my thoughts on everything I read.
2. I want to track my reading using a spreadsheet. For the last couple years I used the spreadsheet designed by Brock at Let’s Read. And, I’ve really liked it. But, I’m currently working on designing my own so that I can track both reading and blogging in one spreadsheet – and focus on the the statistics that are important to me.
3. I want to consistently blog all year. Ideally 3-4 times a week. And, I’d really love to create my own weekly meme next year. I’ve got a few ideas, but I haven’t settled on the perfect one.
4. I want to read down my physical TBR. I don’t really have a specific number in mind because I enjoy having a shelf full of books to choose from. But, I want to make sure that I can fit all my TBR books on my TBR shelf – its getting a little full at the moment. And, I’m sure it will get worse before the end of the year. Haha.
5. I want to make sure I’m making time for re-reading my favorites. I’ve re-read 10-12 books this year, and I’ve really enjoyed it. Sometimes I get so focused on all the books I’ve never read, that I forget how much I love going back and spending time in worlds I’ve already been to before.
What about you? Have you started thinking about your reading goals for 2020?
Happy Reading ♥
I want to read make a bigger dent in my tbr. I won’t be doing a Goodreads challenge in 2020 but I’ve got a 24 he readathon planned 🙂

Oh, I think 24 hour readathons sound so fun! I’ve never done one before, but it seems so much more likely me for me to participate as opposed to a week long one.

I also want to start making an effort to write down all my thoughts on each book I’m reading. I get to the end of the year and I remember that I had strong feelings towards a book, but can’t remember the details of exactly why I liked it so much. Guess I have a horrible memory! Good luck on your goals for 2020 🙂

Exactly! I’m the same way. It doesn’t have to be a lot of info, I just some thoughts and feelings.
Thank you!

Uh uh!!! I’m so excited to see everyone’s 2020 goals!
Reading 100 books has been a dream of mine for a couple of years now, but I always fall short… This year I might get closer to it actually, as I hope to read at least 90, but don’t think I will reach the magic number 100.
This year I’ve been tracking all of my reading (besides Goodreads ofc) in an excel spreadsheet, and it’s been very helpful actually. Especially now when I want to create all the graphs and stats of my 2019 reading.
I love your goals! Good luck in 2020 reaching all of them!

This is the first year I’ve ever hit 100 books, and its a pretty cool feeling! Haha.
I love tracking my reading on a spreadsheet. Especially when I get to look at all the charts and stuff. Its just so cool to see all the comparisons. And it will make doing my end of year stuff so much easier.
Thank you! I hope you finally get a 100 book year next year! 🙂

Great goals you’ve got here! 🙂
Some of my 2020 reading goals include:
1. Read at least 15 from my TBR on Kindle.
2. Read at least 15 from my physical TBR.
3. Read at least 5 non-fiction.
Happy reading and good luck in 2020! 🙂

Those are some really great goals! I definitely need to read some more non-fiction. I think I only read 2 this year.
