Hello bookworms! Today I’m doing the Fall Bucket List Tag. I was tagged by Meghan at Meghan’s Whimsical Explorations & Reveiws. Thank you for tagging me! I love doing tags. 🙂
The Fall Bucket List was created by Read by Tiffany. (Make sure to credit her if you do the tag too.)
1. Light a scented candle: A book that is lighthearted
»» Well Met by Jen DeLuca
This book was just so much fun. Its a adult contemporary romance set at a Ren Faire. I mean, what more could you ask for?
2. Drink pumpkin spiced lattes: A book that has a lot of hype
»» Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
This book has been everywhere. But, unfortunately, I didn’t love it, like so many people did.
3. Go apple picking: A book that has fun friendships
»» Dead Voices by Katherine Arden
I adore the friendships in this book. And, I can’t wait to see where our trio goes next. (Also, if you’re looking for a spooky middle grade, you’ve got to check this out. I’m admittedly a chicken, but this really scared me. Haha.)
4. Wear a cozy sweater: A book that warms your heart
»» Heartstopper by Alice Oseman
This is the most delightful, endearing comic I’ve ever read. Like, clutching the book to your chest, kicking your feet, and squealing because it’s so adorable.
5. Bake Cinnamon Rolls: A character who’s a talented chef
»» Bloom by Kevin Panetta
Soft boys baking and falling in love. And, the art is fantastic.
6. Jump into a pile of leaves: A book that made you jump for joy
»» Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
This is my favorite adult contemporary romance – it’s #ownvoices for the chronic illness and black representation (and maybe even the fat rep too). And the love interest is a tattooed, motorcycling riding cinnamon roll. *swoon*
I’m not going to tag anybody, cause I’m not sure who hasn’t done it/likes to be tagged in these things. But, if this looks like fun to you, consider yourself tagged. 🙂
Happy Reading ♥
