May Wrap-Up/June TBR

So, I know we’re already half way through June, but its better late than never, right? 🙂 I’ve finally kicked my stupid reading slump, but I’m still not back up to my 12ish things a month I was rocking at the end of last year and the first couple months of this year.

And since I’ve been a bad book blogger and not posting as much, here’s a new picture of Ahsoka and her favorite superhero hedgehog! She’s tripled her weight since we got her, and has made herself at home on all the furniture. Haha.

But, back to the books. I did manage to read three novels in May, and I loved all of them! Can you really ask for more than that? And, I plan to have reviews out this week. *Fingers Crossed*

May Reads:

A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab – 5 Stars

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas – 4 Stars

Hunted by Megan Spooner – 4 Stars

And, I’ve already finished 3 books in June so I’m off to a good start. But, I’d really love to get at least 3 more read before July. And, of course supplement these with my ridiculous backlog of comics.

June TBR:

The Flame in the Mist by Renée Ahdieh (Currently Reading)

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza

So how is your reading going so far? Are you feeling slumpy or are you racing through your TBR? Anything I just HAVE to pick up this month because you loved it so much?

  1. I’m glad to hear that you curbed your reading slump. Wishing you a wonderful June!

I’m new to blogging and book reviewing, and I was wondering if you had any tips for newbie bloggers and book reviewers.

If you have the time, please check out my blog @breenysbooks. I’d love any feedback. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Thanks! 🙂

Welcome to Book Blogging! Its such a great community full of wonderful people. My two biggest suggestions would be to:

      1. Have fun. We all (presumably) start blogs because we love reading and talking about books. If you’re having fun while you write, its going to show through.

      2. Get involved in the community. Read and follow other blogs. Comment and start conversations. Those bloggers will then check out your posts and comment.

I will check out your blog. I hope you have as much fun as I do. 🙂
