Plus, now that I’m reading again, I’m really excited about blogging. So lookout for way more content from me this month!

I loved the Shades of Magic trilogy so much, that now I want to read everything else V.E. Scwab has written. And though I’m only 30 pages in, I’m really excited about the premise of this book.
What wonderful things did you lovely people read this month? Did you get yourself out of a slump like me? Or have you been consistently having great reading months?
So glad you’re finally out of your slump!!! That’s the worst. My last slump was after reading ACOMAF last year and I just couldn’t get out of it no matter how hard I tried!!!

“only” 2 books – but still over 1000 pages! That’s an awesome effort for being in/ just coming out of a slump! I think reading slumps are necessary – everyone needs a little holiday occasionally, even from the things they are most passionate about. And then it’s great to be excited about reading again after it! 🙂

Thanks! A Conjuring of Light was a beast!! Haha.
I have to agree – as much as I missed reading, it was nice to take a break. And, I think its made me even more excited to start reading again!

1000+ pages when you’re coming out of a reading slump is pretty impressive, I hope you have a good reading month in May! 😁 I’m currently reading ACOL and I’m loving it so much, I look forward to hearing what you think of this savage song because I have a feeling I’ll want to do to the same as you and read it once I’ve finished ACOL 😋

ACOL is so amazing!! I will definitely be posting a review of This Savage Song once I get it done. I’m pretty sure that VE Schwab is going to be an Auto-Buy author for me!

I’m still trying to get back into reading. I just have to find the right ones and the right time I guess. I’m currently reading a book that I’ve had since December(Christmas present) but only just started reading about a month ago… (halfway though) which is actually a long time. I can do better.

I managed 3 books, 2 graphic novels, half an audio book (and a ton of fanfic, lol); not too shabby considering the 3 books combined were over 1400 pages. 😉 I was completely swept away by “Strange the Dreamer”. If you haven’t gotten to it yet, I highly recommend it!

Sounds like a good month!
I will definitely have to check it out! I really liked her other book – Daughter of Smoke and Bone (though I haven’t finished the trilogy, yet.). That just might be my next book purchase! 🙂

They have “Daughter of Smoke and Bone” at my library; I’ve thought about picking it up next time I’m there. Is there a lot of romancy-angst? I’m not a huge fan of that, so like to be forewarned. 😉

Oh, yes. Its absolutely full of angst. Like super-angsty angst. Haha. So it might not be the best choice for you! 🙂
